Frank married Florence in June, 1943 and, along with the rest of the Clayton Crew, went overseas in November of that year. He flew 28 missions with the Clayton crew and then, according to 384th BG records volunteered along with Boydston for another tour of duty. Postwar, Frank worked as a tree surgeon, truck driver, and school bus driver. He retired in 1980 and died 3 years later.
