Elmer flew 30 missions with the Clayton crew and then volunteered for another tour of duty with the 384th BG. He flew one more mission and then was released for stateside duty. Postwar, Elmer Boydston moved back to Kansas and still resides there with his wife, Lola, in Topeka (See below).
