"Hot Nuts", B-17G-10-BO, Serial No. 42-39888, SU+B

"Hot Nuts", a Boeing-built B-17G-10-BO, Ser. No. 42-39888, with squadron codes SU+B served with the 544th Squadron, 384th Bomb Group from November 23, 1943 until May 2nd, 1945. It returned to the USA on July 7th, 1945 and was scrapped at Kingman, Arizona on November 23, 1945.

On February 25th, 1944, the Clayton Crew aborted a mission to Augsburg, Germany while flying this aircraft.
